What’s Included in the Kit?
The PatchLoom weaving tool with 14 hooks, a beechwood disc, a metal holding spring, weaving tools and a needle, step-by-step instructions and a digital pattern booklet.
On Which Fabrics Does It Work?
Jumpers, cardigans, jeans, socks, scarves, blankets and tote bags. For your first patch, start with a soft, slightly thick knit: it’s easier to control.
The loom holds your fabric in place. Stretch the fabric over the disc, set the vertical threads on the hooks, then weave over and under, row by row. The threads lock together into a strong patch.

Most knitted and woven fabrics. Beginners should start with a soft, slightly thick knit.
How long does one patch take?
About 20 minutes once you’ve done your first one, depending on size and pattern.
What thread should I use?
Most yarns work. Slightly thicker yarn fills the area more evenly and gives a stronger, cleaner patch.
How hard is it to learn?
There’s a small learning curve at first. With the step-by-step instructions, most people get comfortable quickly.
Can I use it without a hole?
Yes. Lots of people weave flowers, hearts or colourful patterns onto plain clothes.
